Let me tell you about my Online Study Circle, exploring, as I put it on the landing page, "the poetry of body centered experience". I don't know how much you know of Jin Shin Jyutsu, and Art that is often presented as "healing art from ancient Japanese tradition". In truth, as my teacher Mary Burmeister pointed out, it is an Art of Living, and as such, it is Universal.
While the name and the procedures currently taught do go back to Japan – they take root in the life's work of Master Jiro Murai – the basic knowing that there is an energetic draft or blueprint that precedes the physical body does not belong to one one culture, epoch or expression.
Moreover, the understanding that we each have the potential of being a cable or channel for a harmonizing energy that is Universal rather than personal echoes in all great traditions of Humankind.
Jin Shin Jyutsu speaks of energy pathways that build and later maintain the body, of energetic centers called "safety energy locks" and energetic qualities that Mary Burmeister named "Depths". To me, all of these elements have a "personality" and a "flavor". Knowing them through sensation and feeling makes them come alive for us and allows us to get a sense of what they bring into a persons life and hence, when to use them.
This "poetic dimension" is far from a waste of time or reserved for those exquisit exceptional moments when one isn't in pain; it is how life is created and maintained: A core aliveness within us is eager to experience itself in the world of form in action and in expression. Being in touch with this lets us remember the why of being here, and the why of wanting to heal anything in the first place.
Not feeling pain is a great relief, yet beyond that lies the true delight of life. It's what we feel, not what we have managed to escape, that makes us want to stay here!
This is why I have created this online learning format, suited to beginners and experienced students alike. It uses experience based learning and rich language as the central pillars to allowing your personalized connection to everything we talk about, developing that connection from the inside out.
This feeling-based approach to learning may be tempting yet unfamiliar, I understand. So rest assured that you can always opt out during the 14-day trial and not be charged anything, and that you can cancel at any time, month by month. And note that as you sign up, you will also be able to save 15% on my previous online courses, "To Feel" and "Essences"
